Smile Brilliant.

20 Feb

Smile Brilliant contacted me and asked if I would be willing to try out their LED teeth whitening system and review it on my blog – good or bad. They also said they would give away a free teeth whitening system to one of my readers (a $39.99 value).

I’m like Oprah! Hey-eyyyyyy!! Scratch that, Oprah would totally give ALL of you a free gift. This would be beyond awesome if you could pull that off, Smile Brilliant.

How did they find my blog? Who knows. But I’m thinking they noticed I take a lot of selfies. I’m like a damn teenager.

I take care of my teeth. I get a professional cleaning every 6 months. I haven’t had a cavity in years – I swear mom. I brush and floss every day. I use knives as mirrors at the dinner table to check my teeth for food.

No matter how much work I put in to keep my teeth clean, they still get stained. It’s the mommy lifestyle. The constant coffee. The cherry red slushies with the kids. The occasional Coke. The pasta and marinara sauce dinner staple.

And then you have the big momma of them all –

Oh yes.

Oh yes.

RED WINE!!

RED WINE!!

It's my 2nd glass. Scott is out of town.

It’s my 2nd glass. Scott is out of town.

Just kidding. It's my 3rd.

Just kidding. It’s my 3rd.

You can stain your teeth at home just to whiten them back up too!

Smile Brilliant made it too easy.

The Smile Brilliant LED whitening kit.

The Smile Brilliant LED whitening kit.

  1. Brush your teeth.
  2. Take the pre-loaded brush and paint your teeth. Avoid your gums if you can.
  3. Put the teeth guard over your teeth.
  4. Turn on the LED light. You can hold the LED light over your teeth or you can bite down on the clip.
  5. Sit back. Enjoy the quiet, sleeping kids. Turn on the TV. Do nothing for 20 minutes. It’s great.

And then BOOM! I LOVE IT. YOU WILL LOVE IT.

What are you talking about, Scott? I didn't drink at all.

What are you talking about, Scott? I don’t drink alone when you’re gone.

How to win:

Tell me something that made you smile today. I like hearing your stories!

Leave your comment below on my blog, or my Facebook page, or my Twitter page.

Each comment is worth one entry. If you leave me a comment here, on Facebook and on Twitter – you have just entered 3 times. You can only enter up to 3 times a day until midnight CST Sunday, February 23rd (same time zone as Oprah! Heey-eyy!)

I will print the comments, pull one out of hat and will contact the winner! I will let everyone else know who won on Monday, February 24th. I might write what made the winner smile too.

Ready, set, GO! What made you smile today??

So Gavin has a crazy imagination and he makes stuff up every day that makes me smile. This morning it was carrying his stuffed dog Ortensia around in my old carrier and then using a plastic hanger as a bow to shoot vampires.

Ha! That’s awesome. Kids should really write books. They have a much more obscure imagination than adults do. Move over, J.K. Rowling!!

This is just a regular comment. I’ll enter the contest for real when you’ve got some freebies from the hair transplant people. Those are the folks I need you to get in good with.

My two year old shushed me this morning in the car because he was trying to hear Britney Spear’s sing some song called “Work B**ch,” so there’s that. I sort of smiled. And you do have a really great smile, so that’s probably what they noticed. All the drinking probably helps give you reason to smile.

Uh oh, Britney Spears? Better than Justin Bieber? Drinking makes me smile but not like in a Justin Bieber sort of smile.

Each morning I half wake Colton up and dress him (I find it easier to dress him while he’s still a bit asleep then he wakes up when he’s ready). As I’m about to pull his shirt over his head he says “Hey, I’m dreaming here, mom!” Then he proceeded to pass back out! I’ve never laughed so hard!

Ok, a “real” one. My friend was putting in a song request at the dueling piano bar when the pianists started playing “Like a Virgin”. He decided to dance promiscuously when they started singing “touched for the very first time”, while he was on stage putting in his song request. The male pianist took this awesome opportunity and gave him a wonderful “dance” in front of the whole audience. My poor friend tried to run away but after being chased down by the pianist, he just stood there and took it until it was over …
